#UMI RESCUE COPTER SERIES#
The series premiered in January 2010 and has run for three seasons. It focuses on math skills and takes place in the fictional Umi City. Team Umizoomi is a popular educational cartoon featured on both Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. Real children are used in certain situations and helps the viewing child feel like they are a part of the show. The show also features a combination of cartoon animation and live action shots. Milli, Geo, and Bot encourage the viewing child to participate in the program by asking them questions about solving math problems. He also has an antenna on his head that can receive requests for help and a screen on his abdomen to receive video calls. Bot's arms and legs can be telescoped out to reach things that are high and low. Team Umizoomi also inclues Milli and Geo's robot friend, Bot. Geo loves blueprints, and when Team Umizoomi needs something built to get them out of a situation, Geo will find the shapes to fit the blueprint and solve the problem. Geo rides through Umi City on his super skates, and his specialty is geometric shapes. She can use her pigtails to measure items and can change her clothing to match specific color patterns. Milli's expertise is related to measurements and patterns. The main characters on Team Umizoomi are a set of siblings: a girl named Milli and a boy named Geo. The show is oriented towards preschool aged children and encourages counting, organizing, measuring, and sorting.
